Field Conditions & Cancellations

The league will update this section with information on field closures and game cancellations the morning of game days.  Coaches should also still check the cancellation hotline.

Game Day Weather Cancellation Policy

Normally game day field cancellation decisions are made by the individual field coordinators.  As early in the day as possible,  the field coordinators will inspect their fields and report if their fields are unplayable.  That information is put on the Coach's and Manager's SISL Hotline.  The only weather conditions that the league will cancel games for is when the wind chill is below 10 degrees F.  Once the league and the field coordinators declare the fields ready to play, only the referees have the authority to cancel the games for unplayable conditions resulting from inclement weather or safety factors.
